rue des Francs-Bourgeois

The origin of the name comes from the Maison d'Aumône destined to welcoming tax-freed bourgeois because of their poverty (see the place of n° 34-36 in this street).

It is composed of several old sections. In 1851, the name Francs-Bourgeois has been extended to the whole street.

It is 705m long and 9 m large.
